Almost six years ago I started a new job. A maintenance tech with zero experience. I was resurfacing the factory floor and learning the scary machines. The JV team had a tough one Tuesday. They played a better team and had a nice 6 run lead heading into the 6th inning. The “coach” made a pitching change and put Kam in, who promptly let 5 runs score in the bottom of the sixth. It’s been 3 days since the surgery and things are progressing very well. The incisions are healing, she’s getting her strength back and today we went for a walk. Her brain still goes too fast and she thingks she should be 100% physically by now, but I had to reassure her tonight that she’s doing great.
