Mason has been benched since we came back from Myrtle Beach by his awesome Legion coach. He’s done that same bullshit all 3 years Mason has played Legion ball. Well, in a marathon game this afternoon that same coach ran out of pitchers and had to put Mason on the mound.
Now, Mason ain’t no pitcher, but he pitched a three inning no-hitter, with 3 K’s and helped the team win to stay undefeated in the Regionals Tournament. At the end of the game I heard the coach say, and I quote, “Thank God Mason came back from the beach.”
Fuck you, Mike.
