Usually you don’t know you’re living through a day that will make history. Although some exceptions do exist, like September 11, 2001. But today is one of those days. Two life-altering things happened today. First, American health care workers started to receive the Covid vaccine, and that is truly amazing. From pandemic to vaccine in less than a year is just miraculous! And second, the Electoral College affirmed Joseph R Biden as the President-Elect of the United States of America. ...

So my ex-wife took my son golfing yesterday with her bestie, then they went to dinner and went to her bestie’s house. She then dropped him back off last night. This morning (on my birthday) her bestie called me and told me her sister, brother-in-law, and nephew were all confirmed positive for COVID and they were together the previous night, with her nephew sleeping over. So now my son was to quarantine, I’m on vacation this week and will have to quarantine, and we will go for tests later this week. ...

In 2018 around the time of the primary elections I started to sour on Facebook. My Twitter account had been dormant for almost 2 years. More and more I started to get upset by the posts on FB. Peoples views and opinion were being expressed more every day. It was becoming a political hotbed. I instantly grew tired of the posts that weren’t memes, and that didn’t make me laugh. I thought, “Why would you people post that shit here and ruin a fun place?” ...

So here we are, in the week leading up to my 44th, with an Eagles win at home against Dallas. Gonna get a few hours OT for Christmas money. And the big one; Election Day in 2 days. So far, so good. Just hope to ride this thing out and get the best gift I’ll ever get. tRump voted the hell out.

The election is so close I can almost taste it! One week from tomorrow. 5 days before my birthday. The single, greatest gift I ever hope to be given. A loss for tRump. ‌ It’s true, I was a Bernie guy. But Biden will do. He has 8 years experience in the White House. He’s got some decent plans for his term. And this country won’t survive another 4 years of a reality TV show with no direction other than self-dealing and corruption. ...

That’s right, it’s now officially the Trump virus. Good for the asshole.

After three and a half years, I’m back to where I started. Working Thursday and Friday as my 2 weekdays. Simon finally went to days and with Tim and Chris both working Monday/Tuesday the end of the week was a tad light on workers. No terrible, but I’ll get used to it. I can watch the 2 primetime football games, and John Oliver. So there’s that I guess. Oh! And Jamie is back. As a tech on 3rd shift. For now. I still want that damn day shift spot. I can only hope for Simon to get fired or quit. Shitty, I know, but it’s been three and a half years! I want my weekends back!!! ...
