So. We joined a softball team! I secretly always want to be on a softball team. It takes me back to my early teens when I would travel around with Tom’s (my Big Brother) team on Saturdays.
We’re play for Big Woodys (hilarious) in a 4 team Y league. We had our first game on June 13 and we won 13-9. I played 1st and pitched, 2 innings of each. Susie caught the whole game. It was a blast! And surprisingly I wasn’t really sore. My right ankle a little from running in cleats, but that’s it.
I’ll update as the season progresses. It’s so much fun. We have 2 games per week until playoffs, which all the teams will be in since there’re only 4. Big Woodys, LFG!!!!!
